Core 4 - Love 'em or Lose 'em
Retention and engagement continue to be among the top priorities of most organizations. Managers know that engaged employees make their jobs easier and are essential to an organization's long-term success. Winning the loyalty and commitment of talented employees is a critical managerial responsibility and a key to survival in the ever-changing world of work. Managers can greatly influence their employees' level of engagement and likelihood of staying, physically and mentally. But often these leaders need tools, training and practice to get the job done: this workshop provides both. Career Systems International's Love 'Em or Lose 'Em workshops, based on the concepts of best-seller Love 'Em or Lose 'Em: Getting Good People to Stay (by Beverly Kaye and Sharon Jordan-Evans, Berrett-Koehler, 2002), are designed to equip managers with the 26 practical strategies they can use to retain, engage, and encourage the talents of their people. It is about winning employees' loyalty and commitment. It is about becoming talent-focused to build an ever-stronger organization. It's about increasing your customer satisfaction by building employee satisfaction.   more info

Crothall - Mixing 4 Generations in the Workplace
In today's business environment, with a vast range of ages and background experiences at play, you are more likely to be managing, coaching and leading people who are nothing at all like you. Let's be honest - this is the first time we've had all four generations actively working together at the same time in the workplace. So, how do you find that all important common ground? One increasingly important starting point is to gain an understanding of generational dynamics in the workplace. Today's workforce comprises four distinct generations; each with its own shared history, common biases and core beliefs. Learning what makes each generation tick, and taking the time to consider your communication approach, will advance your relationships and help you lead your team during good times and through stressful situations. This course gives your participants that generational insight. Throughout this course, participants will learn the common drivers of each generation - what are they looking for, how should you interact with them, how do they make decisions, and what is most important to them.    more info

Crothall - Online Sexual and Workplace Harassment Program
FOR CROTHALL ASSOCIATES ONLY. This On-Line course addresses the issues of sexual and workplace harassment. Sexual and workplace harassment is a serious issue for all organizations and associates, including Compass Group. Sexual and workplace harassment can cause emotional distress resulting in higher turnover, decreased productivity, as well as the potential for litigation if harassment is not stopped. Sexual and workplace harassment negatively impacts how we deliver on The Compass Group Employment Brand, great people - real opportunities. Sexual and workplace harassment prevents ALL Compass Group associates from having equal access to the 8 opportunities of the Employment Brand. These are the opportunity to: have a great start, learn and grow, make a positive impact, share rewards, have work/life balance, be in the know, be recognized, and share great ideas. Recognizing and preventing harassment is now even easier for Compass Group supervisors and managers. In partnership with Lernen Inc, we proudly provide the On-Line Sexual and Workplace Harassment Program. This course is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week so you can complete it when it is most convenient for you. Simply visit http://CrothallTraining.com and follow the prompts to enroll. This course is estimated to take 2 hours to complete. Upon successful completion of the program, users can print out a certificate of completion from their computer. Users who have not completed the program will be able to stop and come back. Upon re-entering the program, they will be brought back to the beginning of the section in which they stopped. Simply visit http://CrothallTraining.com to complete.    more info

Mixing Four Generations in the Workplace
Throughout this course, participants will learn the common drivers of each generation - what are they looking for, how should you interact with them, how do they make decisions, and what is most important to them.    more info
